Understand the process of development
 
"Journalists should focus more on the process of development than highlighting its result. Locally relevant planning, positive thinking and actions that led to the emergence of a success story have to be reflected in the media. At the same time factors that resulted in the failure of an initiative needs to be studied," said well-known development journalist Shivananda Kalave. He was interacting with the students of Mass Communication and Journalism Department, Karnataka University, Dharwad. The programme was organized by Dharwad based Centre for Agricultural Media (CAM) in association with the Mass Communication and Journalism Department on March 23, 2009.
